WE ARE NOW LOCATED at the Old TXDOT / DHS Building on HWY 67 East (502 EAST MAIN) The entrance to our office at the new location is located on the west side of the building - look for the WELCOME wagon wheel. You may also use the front door of the building to get to our office.
OFFICIAL PUBLIC RECORDS ONLINE - countygovernmentrecords.com You must register a username, password, enter your credit/debit card information before using the website for the first time. You may VIEW for FREE and print for a fee with a credit or debit card. Copy fees are the same as if you were in the office. Monthly subscriptions are available or purchase copies as you go.
Contract and Lien / Oil and Gas Lease Records are now available online (indexed and imaged) from 1910 forward.
Deed records are online from 1843 forward. (Indexed and Imaged)
If you find a document that does not have an image, let us know. We will be sure and correct the problem.
Accepted forms of payment include cash, *checks, cashiers check, and money order.
*No out-of-state personal checks accepted. All checks must have the drivers license and phone number of signer otherwise your documents may be returned unrecorded. If you have questions about us accepting your check, please contact us at 903-537-2342 x 2 Return check fee $30. Returned checks will not be redeposited.
